Hello, my name is Jason Butkiewicz, owner of Home Tech Advisor. I started out my professional career by joining the U.S. Air Force at the age of 19. I was a B-52 maintenance crew chief after 7 plus years I ended my Air Force career and returned home to Michigan with an Honorable discharge at the rank of Staff Sgt. In Michigan I worked in the automotive industry but after I purchased my first “PC”, I was fascinated! I found that my passion was in technology, so I focused on understanding and learning about the newly evolving technology of personal computers. After years of building desktop computers for myself and others, I started a small business building and repairing personal computers (which I loved to do) as a secondary source of income. In 2008 the economic downturn hit the automotive industry hard, so I moved to Anthem, AZ (North Phoenix) with the need to further my abilities in this constantly changing technology field. I immediately became employed with a satellite TV provider as an installation/service technician. I later became an engineering technician; I was privileged with traveling all over Arizona. I loved meeting customers from all over the state and helping them with issues no one else could figure out. Those years of experience in that position allowed me to acquire in-depth experience in nearly all areas of home technology such as installing and troubleshooting home Internet technology, audio/video equipment and smart home products. Now after 14 years of extensive residential technology experience here in North Phoenix and Arizona, it would be my honor to help you with your home technology needs.
